Cheesy Rice Casserole
Lightly grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
Cheesy rice casserole. Heat the oven to 375F. Add beef broth butter and rice. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a bowl mix all ingredients using only half the cheese. Bring to a boil. Bring rice and broth to a boil in a pot.
Reduce the heat to a very low flame. Steam for 5-10 more. Add mushrooms and replace cover.
It is a comfort food dish that all gets combined together and baked in a casserole dish for 20 minutes. Bake at 400 for 20. Preheat oven to 350.
Add broth cream and remaining 2 teaspoons salt. Stir in soup paprika dry mustard nutmeg 1 cup of the cheese and milk. Pour into a greased 139 baking dish.
Top with remaining shredded cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes until set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. This cheesy broccoli rice casserole brings sliced cremini mushrooms minced garlic and freshly grated nutmeg into the mix. Add cooked rice and broccoli.
