Diy Swiffer Solution
Heres how you can be.
Diy swiffer solution. Take your old swiffer bottle out of your swiffer and turn it upside down into a cup of boiling or really really really HOT water for about 1 minute. Fill a bucket with 2 quarts of water. You have a Swiffer Wet jet.
In the bag combine the water vinegar and soap. Add 1 cup of lemon juice. Pour 4 cups of hot water into a bucket or pitcher.
Great for deodorizing and degreasing. Leave a 2-3 inch opening for turning the swiffer cover inside out later. I had to buy a new swiffer im sure it is becaues i used water and not cleaning products.
Or you can dip the Swiffer mop head directly into the solution and mop your floor as normal. To get your homemade solution into the special wetjet bottle youll need to loosen the cap with some hot water. Careful it gets hot.
To wash either of the reusable swiffer cloths simply wash them with a load of towels. Either way you will be able to remove it. I tried this once before with just water and it cloged the swiffer jets.
One squirt of Dish Soap. And speaking of solution to refill the Wet Jets bottle submerge the cap in an inch of boiling water until the plastic softens it should take about a minute. Then use your hands or a screw driver to gently pry off the cap.
